Ingredients for cooking meat with mushrooms:

  • Meat (pork or beef, veal) 500 g;
  • Champignons 500 g;
  • Onion 1 pc .;
  • Sour cream 200 g;
  • Flour 1 tbsp;
  • Salt to taste;
  • Ground black pepper 1 tsp;
  • Any other seasonings and spices to taste;
  • Vegetable oil for frying 5-6 tablespoons

1. Rinse and dry the meat. Cut into small slices.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the meat in this oil, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes.

3. Pour hot boiled water into the meat. Two-thirds of a glass of water is sufficient. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes. If your water boils away, you can add fresh water.

4. Let's start making the sauce. Peel and cut the onions into half rings. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onion over medium heat until golden brown. Stir so that the onion does not burn.

5. Rinse and chop the mushrooms. It is not necessary to cut the mushrooms very finely. During the cooking process, they will significantly decrease in size. It is enough to cut them into 4 pieces if they are small.

6. Place the mushrooms over the fried onions, season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer them for 10-15 minutes to let the mushrooms release excess moisture.

7. Add sour cream and flour to the mushroom mixture, mix. Pour the future sauce with a glass of hot water and bring to a boil. After boiling, cover the mushrooms with a lid, reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

8. Pour the prepared sauce to the meat, stir and simmer for another 10-12 minutes. Correct the taste by adding salt as needed. Perfectly emphasizes the mushroom taste and aroma of simple garlic. Add just a couple of cloves of finely chopped garlic 5-7 minutes until tender.

Preparation:

  1. Wash the meat and cut into strips.
  2. Heat some vegetable oil in a deep skillet and add the meat. Fry the meat over high heat with constant stirring until all pieces are whitened so that the juice is sealed inside.
  3. After the meat turns white, reduce the heat to a minimum, pour 1/2 cup of boiled water into the pan, cover the pan and leave the meat to simmer for 40 minutes. If the water evaporates quickly, add more water.
  4. While the meat is stewing, prepare the sour cream-mushroom sauce. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a saucepan and add the onion. Saute the onions over low heat with occasional stirring for 10 minutes. The onion should take on a golden color.
  5. After the onions are fried, put the frozen mushrooms in a saucepan and stir them with the onions. Champignons do not need to be defrosted beforehand.
  6. Simmer champignons with onions over low heat under a closed lid for 20 minutes. At this time, mix the flour and sour cream. So that there are no lumps, it is best to first mix the flour with 4-5 tbsp. spoons of boiling water, and then add sour cream.
  7. Put sour cream with flour for mushrooms and onions and pour in 1 cup of boiled water. So that sour cream does not curl, just before adding to the mushrooms, add 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of boiling water and stir.
  8. Bring sour cream and mushroom sauce to a boil and turn off. After 40 minutes. stewing meat, pour sour cream sauce into it, stir and leave on fire for another 20 minutes. under a closed lid.

Prepare the mushrooms: rinse them with water, cut into slices of medium thickness. We will also cut the onions: we will use half of its amount for mushrooms, and the other half for meat.




We warm up a frying pan with vegetable oil, put the pieces of beef there and begin to fry.






When the meat is browned, add a portion of the onion. Salt and pepper a little and bring to a beautiful color, such a brownish shade. If the onion has given little juice, then you can pour in a little water so that the meat is stewed (in time, let the beef stew for 40 minutes over low heat).
