Hake in tomato - classic, tasty and simple homemade dish, as it prepares quickly and without "dirty tricks". Hot hake in tomato sauce is perfect for lunch, but cold in its own way is good. For tomato sauce, I took tomato paste, chopped fresh tomatoes peeled or canned tomatoes in own juice, but still with tomato paste, the sauce turns out to be more saturated.

Let's start cooking! Prepare: fish hake, flour, salt, vegetable oil, onions, carrots, tomato paste, water. Cut the hake into pieces, salt and bread each piece in flour on all sides.

Fry the hake in vegetable oil on all sides, put in a saucepan.

While frying the hake in another pan, fry the onions (in small cubes) and carrots (fine grater) in vegetable oil.

Transfer the sautéed onions and carrots to the hake pot and add the tomato paste.

Pour in a little salted boiling water so that the water covers 2/3 of the fish, and simmer the hake for about 15 minutes after the resulting tomato sauce boils.

That's it - stewed hake in tomato sauce is ready to serve! Any side dish, but it is possible without it, with only one bread.

Enjoy your meal!
