Infusion of rose petals for the face benefits. Pouring rose petals

Tea rose is a shrub plant of incredible beauty, artificially bred from different varieties... It is famous for its bright specific aroma and delicate taste... Its petals are often used in cooking for the preparation of syrups, jams, drinks, including alcoholic ones. To begin with, you should choose a recipe that most closely matches your individual preferences.

Recipe number 1

At home, you can create an unusually tasty, fragrant tea rose liqueur. Let's consider the simplest recipe. For this you need to take:

  • 500 g of petals;
  • 2500 ml of water;
  • 700 g white sugar;
  • 2 tsp citric acid;
  • 300 ml of alcohol.

Recipe:

  1. Separate the petals from the buds, carefully sort through, removing the spoiled and wilted.
  2. Place them in a large saucepan.
  3. Boil water (2 liters) separately, adding citric acid.
  4. Pour the petals with acidified boiling water, close well until it cools completely.
  5. Refrigerate for 48 hours ... If the container lid is not sealed, the product will be spoiled by third-party fragrances.
  6. After 2 days, strain this mixture by squeezing out the petals well.
  7. Prepare syrup from sugar and remaining water, cool.
  8. Pour the previously prepared mixture with syrup, adding alcohol.
  9. Pour the finished pink liqueur into a glass container for storage for about 2 weeks in a poorly lit place.

This recipe is simple enough for those new to making homemade alcohol... It is important to note that it is better to collect petals early in the morning or on a dark evening without solar radiation. In color, the liqueur turns out to be about the same as the rose itself. Therefore, it is necessary to use bright varieties for a rich shade, and the petals should be freshly picked for a unique persistent scent. Dried - will not work, because they have already much lost their aroma.

Recipe number 2

There are many ways to make liqueur from rose petals. We recommend to study next recipe... To make a delicious tea rose tincture, you will need:

  • 1000 ml of vodka;
  • 300 g of petals;
  • 1 tsp citric acid;
  • 1000 g sugar;
  • 1000 ml of water;
  • 5 liter capacity.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Sort out and wash the petals thoroughly.
  2. Pass them along with sugar through a meat grinder.
  3. Transfer the resulting paste to a container, pour in vodka and shake well.
  4. Pour this mixture with water and mix well to completely dissolve the sugar.
  5. Close well and leave to infuse in a dark place for 1 month.
  6. The finished tincture should be filtered through cheesecloth, then add citric acid.
  7. Pour into a glass container, tightly corking. You can drink liquor after 3 days.

The filling is obtained with a pronounced tea rose aroma, which cannot be confused with anything else. Under an alcoholic base, instead of vodka, you can use 45% alcohol, this is not important. The main thing is that it is of high quality. The liqueur made from tea rose petals will keep well in the refrigerator. At low temperatures, it will not deteriorate for a long time, and its taste will only improve over the years.

Recipe number 3

We would like to offer another simple recipe for rose liqueur at home. Ingredients:

  • 0.6 l of high-quality vodka (0.4 l of 45% alcohol);
  • 1 tbsp. l. citric acid;
  • 400 g rose petals;
  • 1.5 liters of cold water;
  • 1 kg of white sugar.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Pour water into the selected, washed petals, let it boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. The boiled petals must be cooled, filtered and squeezed.
  3. Add sugar, citric acid to them and heat until completely dissolved. Cool it down.
  4. Fill with alcohol and let it brew for at least 2 weeks for the best interaction of all components and to eliminate the smell of alcohol itself.
  5. We bottle for storage.

It turns out viscous alcoholic beverage pale pink with a 20 ° strength and noticeable sourness. It is recommended to store it in glassware at a low temperature. Over time, sediment may form on the bottom, which does not affect taste qualities... However, to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the liqueur, it must be filtered before use, preferably through a cotton filter.

You can experiment and prepare an original alcoholic drink from the petals of different varieties of roses, as well as add some special component of your choice, for example, a clove. It will make the liqueur taste even more piquant.

How to add rose petals to beauty masks?

  • I grind fresh rose petals in a blender (you can use a meat grinder) and add to the composition of my face mask or simply apply on a cleansed face as the only component.
  • Dry - grind in a coffee grinder, pour in warm water so that the water only slightly covers them, cover them with a lid and heat them in a water bath for 20-30 minutes. Then I cool it down and use it just like fresh.
  • It is possible not to steam the petals in advance, but to prepare in advance "pink powder" from them, grinding them on a coffee grinder. And then add to your masks.

Important advice!

It is most effective to use masks immediately after visiting the sauna and bath. You can just pre-steam your face at home using a steam bath.

Flower water with rose petals

How to make rose petals flower water:

  • (broth) I do this - pour it with water, heat it in a water bath over very low heat for at least an hour, then let it brew.
  • I filter it, squeeze it well, and use the resulting liquid as a tonic for the face and the area around the eyes.
  • But, when there is no time, then I just pour the raw material with boiling water, insist and use it. Often I make face masks based on this infusion.

Recipe:

  • I am preparing an infusion of petals. If desired, you can add other floral herbs in order to make the action more effective.
  • For hair, I always make concentrated infusions. That is, I take more raw materials than classic recommendation- 1 tablespoon per glass.
  • Add lemon juice to the prepared infusion. A little, the juice of one lemon per 1.5 liters, because my hair is dark. And blondes can use more.
  • After rinsing, the hair becomes lively, shiny, so, you know .... real, as it should be ☺

Important!

I want to warn you right away that PURCHASED roses are NOT suitable for use! They are treated with strong chemicals - pesticides and stuff! First, they are "fed" during their cultivation, then they are processed for better preservation.

As you read on the Internet - "do not throw away dried roses, use petals" ...

Yes, do not throw away dried roses, but only those that you have grown YOURSELF on your site !!! And in the environmental friendliness of which you are 100% SURE !!!

Harvesting rose petals

How to harvest rose petals:

  • I collect rose petals myself and often buy from a friend of my grandmother, a summer resident. While the period of flowering roses is going on, I try to actively and conscientiously dry them for myself, so that it will last until the next season.
  • But it doesn't always work out, really ... This year there was not enough again ... Ahhh ...
  • Before drying, I do not wash the petals. I read that something very useful is washed away from them. Why do we need this, right? We need an EFFECTIVE rejuvenation! ☺But, of course, in this case, you must be sure of the quality of the raw material and its purity !!!
  • I simply lay out the petals on a clean cloth and dry them out of direct sunlight.
  • They dry very quickly, they are also stored without problems - in a dark dry place in fabric bags.
  • The shelf life is 2-2.5 years.

But, my God, they never reach a year for me, everything ends "cleaned up" in a few months! ☺

Tea is also made from them. It has very beneficial properties! So that beauty is not only outside, but also inside, as they say ... ☺ And awesomely delicious jam is cooked!

Now, while writing this last sentence, I thought: “What if you cook it not with sugar, but with honey? Or maybe not even boil, but simply twist the petals with honey in a blender, as we make raspberries and currants for the winter, huh? "

I wonder if it will at least be edible? ☺
