Each housewife has "secret" recipes. It is not only complex with a lot of ingredients that plunge guests into culture shock. These are the most common, time-tested, budgetary and not requiring labor costs. Among the bean dishes, I consider this salad one of the simplest, but at the same time very tasty and healthy.

"Lobuts" is a salad of Armenian cuisine, but other peoples of the Caucasus have similar recipes.

Most main ingredient- Red beans. I still recommend taking the red one. It not only looks beautiful, but also tastes different from white.

I fill the beans with water for 4-6 hours. But in general, you can not do this if you have a multicooker-pressure cooker. Then the washed beans can be put into a bowl, filled with cold water and put on the "Legumes" pressure setting for 45 minutes or "Baking" for 60 minutes.

If cooking takes place in a saucepan, then cook the beans until tender (without overcooking). Do not add salt in the process.

For lobuts, it is also better to take a red onion. It is just right for salads, not as harsh as white. It is prettier to cut the onion into rings, but you can chop it if you wish, or make it in half rings.

There are not many remaining ingredients - this is black ground pepper (white pepper can be used), salt, vinegar and vegetable oil.

The cooked beans were thrown into a colander, then poured into a salad bowl, added onion rings, salt and black pepper.
I pour in 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vinegar. I prefer natural apple. I don't really like the wine in this salad.

After - I add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil. This time I used oil walnuts(very tasty). You can take olive, sunflower (odorous is better).

The result is a deliciously aromatic dish. I will not say that the salad is dietary, it is quite high in calories, which means it is hearty:
- calorie content = 176 kcal
- proteins = 4.8 g
- fat = 11.3 g
- carbohydrates = 13.7 g.

Beautifully decorate the beans with greens, but I didn't have one. Yes and this winter salad, so let's do without green decorations. You can also sprinkle with chopped walnuts.

Do not look that the ingredients are few and very simple. It turns out delicious, so the salad bowl will be empty :)

Recipe for Armenian salad from fresh red beans Lobuts
