Recipe delicious buckwheat with chicken in a multicooker Polaris

The benefits of buckwheat porridge can be talked about for a very long time. But it is not only healthy, but also delicious. It is cooked with sugar, milk, meat, or just as a side dish for any dish. Buckwheat cooked with meat is especially tasty.

It goes well with rabbit and chicken. Polaris can be prepared quickly, without the hassle. Which part of the chicken you choose for cooking depends on your taste preferences.

Someone prefers fillet, dryish, but pitted. Someone loves crispy wings or juicy thigh pulp more. You can put whole drumsticks of a small chicken in the porridge (let vegetarians forgive such an addiction to meat).

Recipe:

Ingredients:

Step 1

To prepare porridge, you need to prepare food. Wash vegetables with chicken. Sort the buckwheat (if foreign inclusions are visible in the cereal). You don't need to wash the groats! Don't throw your shoes. Buckwheat is not washed before cooking using the technology of cooking. From the washed cereal, the porridge turns out to be gray and viscous.

Step 2

Chop vegetables with chicken. This is done on different cutting boards, with different knives. Carrots can be grated, onions cut into small pieces. The size of the pieces is medium, you can put the whole legs or wings.

Step 3

Stew meat and vegetables in a slow cooker. First, pour in oil, put meat, then vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour 1/3 cup of water to the meat.

Close the lid in the multicooker and set the "Fry" mode for 15 minutes. Vegetables and meat do not need to be stirred, they will not burn. When the beep sounds about the end of the process, you can add cereal.

Step 4

Sorted buckwheat is poured into the multicooker bowl for meat and vegetables. It needs to be filled cold water... Preferably clean, filtered. Salt a little. Switch on the program "Krupa", setting the time for half an hour or forty minutes.

Step 5

Open the multicooker after the signal, the water should be completely absorbed into the cereal. Put a spoon butter and mix. Close the lid in a multicooker, and leave for ten minutes.

When serving porridge, if it was cooked with chicken drumstick, separate the meat from the bones and put in a plate with porridge. You can sprinkle the dish with herbs and serve with a vegetable salad.

Cooking secrets

The first rule of a good cook is quality and delicious dishes are obtained from high quality and fresh products.

Meat should not be frozen or defrosted. You need to buy chilled chicken. This also applies to all other types of meat.

Don't buy a lot, make your loved ones happy delicious food... The meat, along with the water that comes out of it during defrosting, loses its meat juice, and after cooking it becomes dryish and not so useful.

Buckwheat should be not crushed, with whole, large grains. If the groats are fried, they are dark brown in color. Unroasted buckwheat is light, may have a greenish tint.

Dishes are tastier from dark cereals. It cooks faster, it turns out crumbly and aromatic. If you do not want to fry the cereals yourself at home, choose dark buckwheat when buying.

Water has already been mentioned in the recipe. Its quality depends not only on the taste of the finished dish, but also on your health. Why do you need an excess of salt accumulating in the joints and kidneys. Better to let it stay in filters on city water.

Unfortunately, artesian water bought on tap also does not guarantee high quality; it is expensive to purchase water for cooking in the store. But the taste of dishes on clean water and city water from the tap is very different. Filtered water will also be more useful in a multicooker.

May it be delicious and tasty on your table more often. healthy meals, thanks to your efforts and the Polaris multicooker.

We will cook buckwheat in a slow cooker with chicken. In my opinion, it doesn't matter at all which parts of the chicken you take for this dish. When I butcher a chicken, I usually cut everything at once portioned pieces, and then I use them for frying, baking, etc. It was these pieces of chicken that I took for our "pilaf with buckwheat". So that the dish is not trivial, I propose to cook it with in large pieces Chicken.

Pour into the multicooker bowl vegetable oil, put the chicken pieces at once. We select a mode suitable for frying, for me this mode is called "Frying", I set the time - 10 minutes. More than enough for pre-roast chicken meat. During the frying process, I turn the meat once.

While the chicken is roasting, prepare the vegetables. You can expand the set of vegetables, and took the most common for pilaf - carrots and onions. I cut the onion into large enough cubes, and the carrots into cubes. To make buckwheat more saturated and juicy, it seems to me that you need to take more vegetables - 2 large onions and carrots, and if you wish, three each!

Add vegetables to the chicken. And then there are options for cooking them - you can stew, or you can fry. For example, I immediately set the "Pilaf" mode, only reduced the time to 10 minutes. From time to time I came up, opened the lid of the multicooker, stirred and watched whether it was enough or even to add time.

During the preliminary stewing, prepare the cereal. It must be rinsed in several waters, discarded in a colander, or simply carefully drained. Now we spread buckwheat for meat with vegetables. It was at this stage that I added spices: salt (about 1 dessert spoon of salt), pepper. If you wish, you can add your favorite spices, I was wary of experimenting, in my opinion, buckwheat is not “friendly” with all spices (but this, I repeat, is just my opinion).

Now mix the entire contents of the bowl. Pour boiling water over. How much to take? The age-old question. Usually buckwheat is boiled at the rate of: 1 part of buckwheat - 1.5 parts of water. However, we already have vegetables, vegetable oil, and meat in the multicooker. I never measure the amount of water in such cases, but I act as Boris Burda advised in one of the culinary programs 15 years ago.

You need to pour so much water that it covers the cereal for two fingers (this, by the way, also applies to pilaf). You might say that these very "two fingers" are difficult to measure. Nothing like this! This is about half of an upright tablespoon. Therefore, I just boiled water in a kettle, poured boiling water into a multicooker, tried to lower a tablespoon, measuring the water level above the cereal with it. About half a spoon? Fits! There is enough water.

It is only necessary to set the Plov mode to the full time interval, which is included in this program. After about 30 minutes, I opened the lid of the multicooker and stuck a whole unpeeled head of garlic into the buckwheat (just like in pilaf). After that, buckwheat with chicken continued to cook on their own.
