In many Asian cuisines, sesame seeds are used very actively. And for good reason! The seeds of this plant contain great amount antioxidants, as well as phytosterols, which prevent the formation of harmful cholesterol. Linoleic acid, also part of sesame seeds, improves the functioning of the endocrine system.

The bread-and-salt New Year's feast is dangerous with extra pounds, so there is only one salvation - to use less fatty turkey meat. Use products "Indilight": turkey drumstick, thigh and breast. Turkey meat is hypoallergenic, contains many useful vitamins and minerals, and protein from it is easily digested. The advantage of Indilight products is in the high quality of the product, control at all levels of production, as well as in the air cooling of meat, in which excess moisture does not get into it, and the meat itself ripens and acquires a rich taste

Today my recipe will be, so to speak, in oriental style but adapted for European cuisine in terms of the availability of ingredients, as well as for the European taste.
For cooking you will need minimal set products, you can buy this in any supermarket. And I'll tell you a secret, the turkey in this recipe can be replaced with fillet almost without loss chicken breast... But if you prefer meat that is more fibrous, then of course take the turkey.

Cut the turkey meat into small pieces. The size should be such that one piece is for one bite.

We spread the meat in a frying pan poured over with vegetable oil and quickly fry so that the meat turns white. Stirring over high heat, it will take no more than five minutes.

Cut fresh garlic, not finely.

Add it to the meat, salt it right there.

Stir and add soy sauce

Next, reduce the heat under the pan, cover the turkey in soy sauce lid and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes. The meat should not begin to fry, if the sauce evaporates quickly, then you can add a little water.

While the meat is cooking until golden brown, fry one tablespoon of white sesame seeds.

Add frozen meat to almost finished meat green beans... you do not need to completely defrost it beforehand.

Cook over medium heat under the lid, stirring occasionally.

Since our turkey was already actually ready, we determine the degree of readiness of the whole dish by the readiness of the beans. It is important not to overexpose, so that the pods retain their bright green color and are not completely soft.
Finally, add the fried sesame seeds.

Green beans, unlike other vegetables, do not absorb harmful substances from the environment and this is undoubtedly one of its main advantages. Of course, compared to shell beans, they are not very rich in protein, but they contain much more vitamins, including vitamin C, provitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin E, folic acid, minerals and fiber. Remember to boil the beans before preparing any dish. This is necessary because it contains the toxic substance pheazin, which is quickly destroyed by frying, stewing, cooking, etc. By the way, boiled beans can be frozen: cool the pods, cut them into pieces and put them in a plastic bag in the freezer. Today we offer to cook very tasty and healthy dish- turkey with green beans in cream.

Cooking the turkey with beans doesn't take long. As a result, you get a complete second course ─ nutritious, healthy and tasty. It can be submitted to everyday table and for a festive feast.

Stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans - not a delicacy, but a common one everyday dish... Given the size of the turkey fillets, it will not be enough big family for a few days ... or for one time, but for a large family. Or a crowd of moderate guests.

The unremarkable nature of this food brings to mind English cuisine (and it really is an English dish) - but there is a pleasant surprise in (traditional) English cuisine. Despite the subtle taste of British food (or perhaps because of it), it is very well suited for daily use: traditional english dishes- simple, satisfying and not boring. You can eat roast beef with bread or fish-and-chips for months (however, to replenish the vitamin balance, you need - following the example of Lord Palmerston - to eat daily at least one orange). Stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans is also from this series (also with vitamins): it seems nothing special, but you can eat it every day.

The dish is simple. Ingredients - a little:

  • turkey fillet - one and a half kilograms
  • carrots - 400-500 grams; these are two rather large carrots
  • about half a kilogram of green green beans (you can pack frozen)
  • medium onion
  • three to four tablespoons of flour
  • salt (about three teaspoons for my taste)
  • ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 30 grams of butter
  • a tablespoon of refined sunflower or corn oil

In fact, there may be a little more or a little less vegetables - this will not affect the result.

Cooking stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans

  1. Grate the turkey fillet with two teaspoons of salt and ground black pepper; then roll well in flour.
  2. Cut carrots into thin rings, onions into small cubes; put everything in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat in a thick-bottomed saucepan over medium heat vegetable oil and melt butter in it.
  4. Fry the turkey fillet in oil - so that it is browned on both sides; it's about 7-10 minutes per side.
  5. Pour onions, carrots and green beans into a saucepan. Season with the remaining salt (teaspoon). Reduce heat to very low, cover and simmer for three to four hours. Look into the pot every half hour, check the liquid level, and turn the turkey fillets. Ideally, it should be stewed in own juice, but if the liquid evaporates too quickly, you can add water.
  6. Add a pinch of black pepper and simmer for another five minutes. Remove the turkey fillet, transfer to a platter, cut into slices, spread the vegetables around and pour over the sauce. Wait ten minutes and start dividing.

Eat delicious with rice, boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes... It tastes best when it's hot; but it is well worth it in the refrigerator - and it will also be delicious when heated.

In the same way, by the way, you can cook both veal and chicken fillets.

Rating: ★★★★ ☆

Pluses: A good everyday dish - hearty, fairly easy to prepare, and keeps well in the refrigerator. In our conditions, it is quite inexpensive.

Nuances: Turkey fillet can be harsh.

Bon Appetit!
