Chicken legs(if desired, you can use any other parts of the chicken) wash well, dry, sprinkle with salt, pepper and your favorite spices.

Put the fried onions and carrots in an ovenproof dish.

Add peas (if you are using frozen peas, you do not need to defrost them first).

Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water, add to onions, carrots and peas. Salt and pepper.

Put the chicken on top of the rice, add two glasses chicken broth or water.

Cover with foil, make punctures in some places with a toothpick or fork. Place the dish with chicken, rice and vegetables in a preheated oven and bake at 170 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

  • Tomato paste, sauce or ketchup - to taste
  • Salt to taste.

How to make minced meat quick rice:

  1. Peel the onion and chop finely. I have frozen sliced ​​onions, so how much it will be in the onions - I will not say. And the bulbs are all different in size.
  2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. I also have carrots prepared in advance.
  3. Lightly fry onions with carrots on vegetable oil in a deep frying pan.
  4. Add minced meat and rice washed in cold water.
  5. Heat the water, dilute the bouillon cubes in it and pour the mixture of rice, minced meat and vegetables. If you are not using cubes, then just fill it with water (you can use boiling water).
  6. Close the lid, wait for a simmer and cook over high heat for 5 minutes. Do not open the lid!
  7. Continue cooking over medium heat for 10 minutes. At the end of this cooking period, open the lid and see if all the water has been absorbed and if the food has started to burn. Add a little more water or oil if necessary.
  8. Add tomato sauce, seasonings (if you cook without a bouillon cube), stir well and put on the lowest heat for another 5 minutes.
  9. Turn off the heat and let stand for at least 15 minutes, and maximum until the family is gathered at the table 🙂
