Preparing and assembling the salad is not difficult, but its taste is simply amazing. The set of ingredients is not a large base of chicken meat, boiled or smoked. Turtle salad is so called because of the external similarity.

What I like about classic salad recipes is that you have nothing superfluous. All ingredients are selected very carefully as they have been tested by time. Only the most popular recipes can be considered classics.

Ingredients.

  • 3-4 red sweet apples.
  • 250 grams - cheese.
  • 7 eggs.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • Salt pepper to taste.
  • Walnut grains.

Cooking process.

Take apples for the salad only sweet and strong. Overripe fruits are loose and not so tasty. Before cooking apples, you need to remove the peel and get rid of the middle. Boil the meat, chop, put on a dish and coat with mayonnaise.

Finely chop the onion and put on top of the mayonnaise.

I take fresh mushrooms, cut into several pieces and then fry them with onions in a pan. And after it has cooled down I put it in the salad. And so the mushrooms go after the onion.

Eggs just finely chop and lay the next layer after the mushrooms.

Three cheese and spread also a layer on top of the eggs. Spreading well over the surface of the salad. Next, put the egg on one side and, like the rest of the salad, hide it under a layer of mayonnaise and cheese.

Sprinkle the salad with chopped walnuts. And we make the eyes of the turtle from the grains of black pepper.

Soak prunes in warm water and cut into strips. Next, lay out the prunes in the form of a shell as in the photo.

  1. Before you start preparing the Turtle salad, you must first boil the chicken fillet and eggs. Cook the breast until tender in slightly salted water - 20 minutes from the moment of boiling. Boil eggs hard-boiled, fill in cold water and peel it.

  2. Separately, you need to scald the onions with boiling water to remove the bitterness.
