  1. We heat 250 milliliters of milk in any way convenient for you. I warmed it up in a small cauldron, so it's easier to control the heating temperature.
  2. Making a dough. To do this, in a bowl, mix a tablespoon of dry yeast and 25 grams of sugar, sift 100 grams of flour through a sieve and mix.

    Did you know? Take your choice of yeast seriously. It is better to give your preference to live, pressed ones. But the dry yeast option is also not bad, especially if you take the instant yeast. Be sure to look at the manufacturing date and expiration date on the packaging. Old yeast won't work. By the way, in addition to carbohydrates and fats, they contain vitamins, proteins and trace elements.

  3. Then pour in warm milk in portions. Stir until yeast and sugar are completely dissolved.

  4. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes to activate the yeast.
  5. Break into a separate bowl 2 raw eggs, pour 50 grams of sugar, add a pinch of salt and 5 grams vanilla sugar... Beat everything with a whisk until smooth.

  6. When the dough has come up, combine it with beaten eggs and mix gently. Pour in 80 milliliters of vegetable oil. It can be replaced with 100 grams of melted butter, it will give a creamier flavor and a slightly different consistency to the dough. But both options work the same way.

  7. Gradually mix 300 grams of flour into the dough, sifting it through a sieve, thereby making the dough more fluffy. Knead with a spoon and then with your hands. At this stage, you can use a bread maker, if you have one. If not, we work with our hands, burn calories, thereby "freeing up space" for future pies.

  8. When the dough becomes difficult to knead in a bowl, sprinkle flour on the work table and knead the dough on it. It turns out to be smooth, pliable and not sticky to your hands. Put the kneaded dough, formed into a ball, into a clean bowl, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

COMPOSITION

For 1 pie

70 ~ 80g yeast dough, 3 ~ 9 strawberries (60 ~ 80g), 1 ~ 2 tsp sugar (8 ~ 15g), 1/3 teaspoon of starch (~ 3g), vegetable oil for frying

Divide the dough into 70 ~ 80g pieces and roll them into balls.




Roll the balls into flat cakes with a diameter of 12 ~ 14cm.




Pour a third of a teaspoon of starch and one teaspoon of sugar on each cake.

This is a simple recipe for strawberry pies especially for those who do not like to mess with the dough for a long time. I cooked quick dough on kefir. I always use this dough recipe when making whites and pies with various fillings. You can also make strawberry patties according to your favorite dough recipe.

The products we need:

370g flour
250ml mineral water

3) Pour the strawberries into a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until it boils. After boiling, boil for a few more minutes so that there is no starch aftertaste. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Making quick puff pastry

1) Sift flour into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and mineral water.
2) Knead not cool soft dough... It should be flexible and pliable. You may need a little more flour.
3) Ready dough roll out into a layer 5 mm thick, grease the dough with softened butter butter... Cut the dough into strips 2-3 cm wide, lay the strips on top of each other in a column, tuck all the layers into a roll, lay the roll flat and roll it out with a rolling pin to a thickness of 5 mm, dusting the table with flour so that the dough sticks.
The more you roll and cut the dough, the more flaky and crunchy the pies will be. Repeat this process 5 times.
4) Roll out the layered dough into a 40x30cm layer, cut the layer into 6 equal pieces of about 10x12cm.
5) To prevent the envelopes from sliding apart during frying, grease the edges around the perimeter with a beaten egg.
6) Strawberry filling put on one side of the dough, fold the pieces in half from one edge to the other, fasten the edges with a fork, pressing lightly so that the dough does not come loose when frying. Now grease each pie with an egg.
7) Fry the pies on a preheated vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes on each side. As soon as the edges are browned, immediately turn it over.
8) Put the finished pies on a paper towel.
