Chocolate manna on kefir is a very tasty porous cake that you can serve as an independent sweet dish or lay it with any jam, jam, cream, turning it into a cake. The difference between manna and ordinary biscuit is that its dough is denser and juicy, the manna does not fall off like a biscuit when baked, and always keeps its shape, but in order to reveal the real taste of this dessert, you need to let the semolina swell in kefir - it will take not less than 1.5 hours. Taking into account this time, baking the cake will take at least 45 minutes and kneading all the ingredients for another 15 minutes, so to create a chocolate manna, immediately free up 2-2.5 hours of your free time.

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 1 tbsp. kefir
  • 1 tbsp. semolina
  • 1 tbsp. wheat flour
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. cocoa powder
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 120 g granulated sugar

Preparation

1. Choose a deep container and pour kefir into it. Pour in the semolina and place so that it is evenly distributed over dairy product... You can use liquid yogurt of any fat content instead of kefir, but then replace the baking powder with soda slaked with vinegar. Kefir contains acid, which quenches soda, yogurt does not contain acid, so the soda will need to be extinguished. Let the semolina swell in kefir for 1.5 hours.

2. As soon as this time is up, we will break into another container chicken eggs, adding salt and granulated sugar there. Beat everything with a mixer or in a food processor, turning it into a lush foam.

3. Combine with swollen semolina in kefir, stir thoroughly.

4. Pour in baking powder, mixing it with 1 tbsp. wheat flour, and cocoa powder, mix thoroughly. By the way, the color of the baking itself depends on the color of the cocoa powder.

5. Then we sift into a container wheat flour and knead the dough.

6. Pour vegetable oil into it with the last and mix again.

Chocolate manna is a fairly simple recipe that does not require much time and effort from the hostess. But what tender cake it turns out!

Semolina is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals, it is widely used in cooking for cereals, salads, desserts, different baked goods... Easy to prepare, it gives a wide scope for culinary imagination.

Our recipe mannik is amazing baked goods. Tastes like real chocolate sponge cake but is prepared with the simplest and most affordable ingredients. And cooking in a multicooker makes the task completely easier, freeing up time for the hostess and giving a wonderful taste.

This recipe provides for the preparation of a pie based on: milk, kefir or even sour cream. We recommend trying to cook a more dietary manna - in milk or kefir, without butter.

Ingredients

  • semolina - 1 glass;
  • wheat flour top grade- 1 glass;
  • milk or kefir - 1 glass;
  • sugar - 1 glass;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • vanilla sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • cocoa - 3 tablespoons;
  • refined vegetable oil - ½ cup;
  • candied fruits, raisins, nuts, coconut - to taste;
  • baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon.

Milk recipe

1. If you decide to cook a chocolate manna in milk, then you will need a container for warming milk. Choose the fat content of the milk at your discretion.

2. Pour milk into a prepared saucepan and sift cocoa into it. Stir to avoid clumping. Bring the cocoa milk to a boil and simmer for another 5 minutes over low heat. Then you need to remove the dishes from the heat and let them cool.

3. Into the warm chocolate milk, stirring slowly, add semolina and let it brew for about half an hour. The semolina will swell in the warm milk and the mixture for this recipe will thicken.

4. While the semolina is infused, beat the eggs with sugar. Instead of sugar, you can use powdered sugar - it dissolves faster when beating, and take chilled eggs - they rise better into foam.

5. When the eggs with sugar are beaten into a thick foam, add our chocolate mixture with semolina to it and continue beating.

6. Sift flour in advance to add fluffiness to future baked goods, saturate it with oxygen, and mix with baking powder. Without stopping whisking, slowly add flour mixture, vanilla sugar and vegetable oil to our recipe. It is important that the oil is light, refined and deodorized so that the recipe does not get spoiled by extraneous odors. Ready dough it should turn out to be quite thick, slowly drain from the spoon.

Kefir recipe

Chocolate manna on kefir does not differ much from its counterpart on milk. Kefir should be room temperature... You should not take a cold one, otherwise the semolina will swell badly.

1. Take a bowl and pour kefir into it. Stir thoroughly, add semolina and let it brew for half an hour to 2 hours.

2. For this recipe, add cocoa to flour with baking powder and stir into the dough while beating.

The rest of the recipes for milk and kefir do not differ from each other.

Baking

1. When the dough for manna with cocoa is ready, you can start baking. Lubricate the multicooker bowl vegetable oil to prevent the cake from sticking. Pour the dough into a bowl.

2. To diversify the recipe, you can add your choice to the ready-made mixture before baking: raisins, candied fruits, coconut flakes or nuts.

3. Place the bowl in a multicooker. Chocolate manna in a multicooker is cooked on the "baking" program for 50 minutes. Chocolate manna in a slow cooker is ready.

Serving the dish

When baking is over, you need to let the cake cool slightly in a bowl, then take it out onto a dish. Pour some milk from a spoon on the hot surface of the cake, evenly distributing it over the surface - it will quickly be absorbed and give the baked goods additional softness and tenderness of taste.

The cooled chocolate manna can be served in this form, or you can make from it real cake: cut the pastry in half lengthways, brush with fruit jam, whipped cream or custard and connect. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top. Cut into portions and serve.

For many, manna is the taste of childhood. So let him now please you and your family with his most delicate taste!
