  • Milk - 2 tbsp.;
  • Egg - 2 pcs.;
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • Salt - 1 tsp;
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • Water (boiling water) - 1 tbsp.;
  • Vegetable oil - 6 tablespoons;
  • Flour - 1.5 tbsp.;
  • For filling:

Preparation

To prepare the dough, use a suitable container with a capacity of at least 1.5 liters to make the ingredients more convenient and easier to mix. Break eggs there, add sugar and salt.

To make the pancakes porous and tender, add half a teaspoon of baking soda (you can substitute 1 teaspoon of baking powder).

Preheat the milk to room temperature, combine it with the eggs and mix thoroughly.

Design options for pancakes with caviar

The beautiful presentation of the dish has always attracted attention and increased the appetite. Especially acute is the need to beautifully decorate pancakes with caviar when preparing a festive table, banquet, buffet, romantic dinner... However, it is very important not to get carried away too much and not to forget that guests should be comfortable eating the snack.

How to wrap pancakes with caviar? Several interesting options decorations will help the hostess make the dish even tastier and more attractive:

Pancake triangles without filling

The easiest way to serve pancakes is the shape of a triangle. It is suitable if the filling needs to be laid out on top, and not placed inside. The pancake needs to be folded in half, and then tuck the side parts to the middle. Put the pancake triangles on the dish with the butt down and the whole side up. The triangles are decorated with caviar and herbs.

Filled Triangles

A variant of the design of a pancake dish from the category of those that are more complicated. Great for thick pancakes that won't tear when rolled. Put the filling with caviar in the center of each product, and mold the three edges along the seams to form a convex triangle. In order to keep the shape better, you can use processed cheese or cream cheese.

Pancake rolls

This method is also considered one of the easiest to make caviar pancakes. You can wrap the rolls in two ways. According to the first, the pancake is rolled up into a tube, then up to the middle it turns into a snail in a circle (around its axis); fixed with a green onion feather. According to the second, the pancake is rolled up and cut into several pieces, which are put on the dish with a cut downward, and caviar is laid out on top.

Pouches

This version of the dish design looks original. And it's easy to make: put the filling in the center of the pancake. Gather the edges of the pancake to the middle and tie it closer to the top with a green onion feather or a string of Pigtail cheese.

Rosette

With this molding, the additional filling can be smeared before folding the tubes for the bud, and the eggs can be laid out over the “petals” of the flower. To fold the rose, the pancake must be folded in half and cut into two triangles. Roll each of them into a tube from left to right, and turn the corner up, but without pulling it out. One pancake makes two roses.

Lily

Roll the pancake in half, cut into two triangles. Put caviar in the middle on each of them, which then cover with the edges located on the sides of the filling. Fix with an onion feather, tying it from the side of a narrow corner. Expand and straighten the wide edges of the bud so that they resemble a lily flower. One pancake produces two flowers.

To make the appetizer really tasty, many housewives use tricks to help bake delicious pancakes:

  1. It is better to grease the pan with fresh bacon - then the dough will not stick, and the baked product will better lag behind the walls of the dishes; and the taste of pancakes will turn out to be unique;
  2. So that when baking pancakes there are no difficulties, you need to observe the correct laying of products: first you need to mix liquid ingredients, and then add flour in small portions;
  3. Yeast dough must be allowed to rise at least twice; if it is bad or suitable for a long time, you need to add a little warm milk and you can bake - the milk will do its job;
  4. Too thick dough is usually diluted the right amount ordinary boiled water.

And in order for the filling to be successful and not to spoil the taste of the pancakes, you need to be able to choose the right caviar. Of course, it is better to use the real one, especially if the appetizer is being prepared for a dinner party. Here are a few simple ways to distinguish natural red caviar from a fake:

  1. If, when crushing the eggs, stiffness is felt, and as a result it turns into splashes - the product is fake; natural caviar will softly burst and flow out onto your fingers;
  2. The caviar must be placed in a glass of hot water: if it is fake (made of gelatin), then after a short time it will dissolve, while real caviar will stand the test and remain unharmed.

Caviar is a good addition to such a common dish as pancakes. It turns a simple snack into a real delicacy that can be enjoyed even at the festive table.
