How to fry boiled dumplings in a pan is delicious. Fried dumplings in a pan recipe with photo

Even if you are not too fond of dumplings, you will certainly like fried in a pan. I used to think that there is only one recipe for cooking the national dish, beloved by Russians - to cook. But no! In addition, in the new method, I unexpectedly found a couple of advantages that attracted me very much: they do not boil over, they have a crispy crust - very tempting, and the meat inside always turns out to be juicy.

I feel obliged to immediately warn you about one drawback. They are high in calories! And you shouldn't get carried away with them every day - eat only 100 grams. (there is nothing to eat, in these grams) and get 200 - 300 kcal. True, recently I was prompted that it is possible to reduce the calorie content. Place the already fried dumplings on a paper towel and drain off the excess oil.

How to fry dumplings in a pan

You can fry already cooked dumplings, but frozen ones are also good. The only difference is in the crust - it will be softer in boiled ones. Products from the freezer will come out with a crispy crust, which is especially appreciated by many in a dish.

How much to fry:

The average frying time does not exceed 15–20 minutes. Frozen fries take longer, in addition, time heat treatment depends on the size of the product.

You can't do without cooking tips, even though the process is seemingly simple:

  • Let the frozen product thaw a little beforehand. But not just like that, but with intent. When the dough is a little soft, squeeze each dumpling with your hands, let it become flat. Then it will cook through evenly.
  • Before placing the blanks in the pan, heat the oil well - they will not stick and will easily turn over.
  • When buying, choose small copies, they will be ready faster.
  • Do not cover, or you will end up with a stew.
  • But so that the crust does not get too tough, at the very end of frying, nevertheless, cover the pan with a lid for a couple of minutes.
  • If you want to fry the product evenly, select a medium heat. And in the process, turn each dumpling several times, and also for this purpose - uniform frying will be provided to you.

It would seem that fried dumplings do not give an opportunity to roam the imagination and diversify the dish. But our hostesses are not so simple and proved it once again.

Flavor Enhancers:

  • At the end of frying, the dish is sometimes poured tomato paste diluted with water.
  • Towards the end of the process, sprinkle the product with sesame seeds.
  • You can make dumplings simply, with onions or pour sour cream, there are recipes with sauce and cheese. At the bottom of the article, in addition to recipes, I will give you several options for sauces for preparing a delicious dish.

That being said, keep in mind that delights add calories to the dish.

Frozen dumplings fried in a pan

Many people think that frying frozen food will save time. This is not true, but it is guaranteed to provide you with a crispy crust.

  1. Pour the butter into the skillet, heat it up and line up the slightly defrosted dumplings. Why they are necessarily slightly defrosted, I explained above. To prevent the product from sticking, make a small distance between the dumplings.
  2. Fry each side for three to four minutes.
  3. Then add a little water, pepper, add a little salt, add a bay leaf if desired.
  4. Continue cooking with the lid closed until all the water has evaporated.
  5. Now open the lid and fry the products on both sides over high heat again. You will need to add a little more oil here.

  2. Combine sour cream with water (then the case when you don't need to save sour cream, add a little water), stir, add a little salt and pour into the pan. Sour cream sauce should cover the dumplings by half.
  3. Simmer under the lid closed until the sauce has evaporated and the product is beautifully colored. Add the desired seasoning shortly before the end of cooking.

How to make fried dumplings with onions

Just three ingredients - and you will get a wonderful dish, which you are not ashamed to treat even to guests who suddenly come. Take one or two medium onions per pack.

  2. Fry the onion until it is translucent, and so that it does not fried completely, it is better to do it under a closed lid.
  3. Put boiled (frozen) dumplings in a pan, add a little salt and continue to fry.
  4. Keep an eye on the oil, you need a lot, and add if necessary.

Precisely for those who like to watch exciting video accompanied by tasty food, and our step by step recipe how to properly fry raw, frozen or boiled dumplings in a pan.

It is only at first glance that dumplings cuisine seems primitive, but when all the cook's imagination is used, then even the most simple dishes turn into real masterpieces.

How much dumplings need to be fried in a pan

In order for the dumplings to turn out not only perfectly fried, with an appetizing crust (as in ostentatious photos and video recipes), but also with juicy filling, you need to understand not only the technique of frying them, but also know exactly how long they should be cooked.

There is no clear time regime for this semi-finished product, since the roasting period largely depends on the size of the dumplings and their pre-processing.

  • For example, already boiled dumplings can be fried in a pan in vegetable or ghee butter for literally 5 minutes on both sides until golden brown appetizing crust.
  • But the question of how to fry frozen dumplings requires a more detailed analysis and lengthy preparation. Do not forget that such semi-finished products are still raw, so it will be right to start darkening them under the lid until cooked for about 15 minutes, and only then add oil and fry until crisp, which will take another 10 minutes.
  • Fresh homemade dumplings cook a little faster. On a fire, slightly less than medium, with the addition of oil, such dumplings should be fried under a lid for 5-7 minutes on each side.

How much to fry dumplings and how to do it right

The dumplings are very high in calories, and the fried ones are doubly high. Therefore, a hearty and appetizing dish should not be made for daily dinner, leave it for a special occasion. To reduce the calorie content of a fried product, first put it on a paper napkin: it will absorb the excess oil.

If you are making frozen dumplings, let them thaw a little. To do this, lay them out on the table for a quarter of an hour. Then squeeze each with your hand: this way the product fries better.

The first option will be crispy, the second will be soft. Which is better is a matter of taste.

Experienced chefs recommend frying the product for a quarter of an hour. Toss it in a hot skillet with well-heated oil. Do not cover, set the heat to medium. Willingness is easy to determine by the appearance of a golden brown crust.

How to fry dumplings

Lovers of appetizing crust prefer to fry frozen dumplings. Let them thaw for 10-15 minutes, then heat the pan and pour in the vegetable oil. When it heats up, moderate the fire slightly.

Throw the semi-finished product into the pan so that the dumplings do not get too close to each other, otherwise they will stick together. Add salt and spices, your favorite condiments. Fry for three minutes on each side. Then pour 150 ml of boiled water into a container, throw in a bay leaf and a couple of allspice peas.

Cover the pan with a lid, make the flame stronger. Wait until the liquid evaporates and do not turn off the gas for another 2-3 minutes so that the dumplings dry out and become covered with a crust.

How to fry dumplings after boiling? First, boil the semi-finished product for 10-15 minutes with salt and spices. Then preheat a skillet and place a piece of butter on top of it. When it melts, add the dumplings. Fry them, stirring constantly, until golden brown.

Fried dumplings are a tasty and simple dish that will be appreciated by both guests and households. They are good for an everyday dinner, and for special occasions when guests come unexpectedly.

It is believed that dumplings are quite economical dish... Especially if you take into account the fact that you can put any meat in the filling, add onions, cabbage, herbs, creating new taste sensations.

Vegetarians can generally give up meat filling replacing meat with mushrooms, cabbage, spicy herbs.

There are dumplings in any national cuisine... They differ in the composition of the dough, in the peculiarities of the filling. The only thing that unites them is the rules of cooking and frying (this will be discussed below).

  • Dumplings are boiled in a large amount of salted water (4 liters of water and 40 g of salt are taken for 1 kg of products), stirring occasionally so that they do not stick to the bottom.
  • They are believed to be ready 8-10 minutes after surfacing.

Dumplings can be served with sour cream, ketchup, butter, broth, any sauce.
Many people love fried dumplings. Moreover, both already cooked dumplings and raw ones are fried - just cooked or frozen.

How to fry dumplings: the subtleties of cooking

  • It is better to fry dumplings in refined vegetable oil. But you can take any fat, taking into account taste preferences and national traditions.
  • The dumplings are fried in a thick-walled pan.
  • They are laid out in well-heated, but not red-hot fat. If you put the dumplings in a slightly heated pan, they can stick to the bottom, and the filling will fall out.
  • Frozen dumplings are not thawed before frying. But the dumplings just removed from the freezer are covered with frost. If they are immediately immersed in hot oil, they will start “shooting”. To prevent this from happening, they need to be kept a little at room temperature, laid out in one layer on a cutting board. When the frost is gone, you can fry them.
  • Freshly cooked dumplings, intended for frying, must be put on a sieve in one layer so that they dry out. Such dumplings should not be overcooked, otherwise they will fall apart during frying.
  • The flavor of fried dumplings depends on the spices and seasonings added during cooking. Dry seasonings should be added at the end of frying, otherwise they will burn and spoil the taste of the dish.
  • Dumplings can be deep-fried. In this case, spices are added to ready-made dumplings, laid out on plates, so as not to "contaminate" the oil with them.
  • Dumplings are fried over medium heat until golden brown, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
  • If the dumplings are large, then frying alone may not be enough. To bring them to readiness, you need to pour some hot water into the pan, cover and let it boil for 3-5 minutes. Instead of water, you can take broth, sour cream, a mixture of ketchup and soy sauce.
