And now what are we going to cook from, for about 3 very hungry people or 4 standard servings.
You will need:
Young or "aged" potatoes - 5 pieces of medium size.
Small onions - 4 pcs.
Champignons - 150 - 200 gr. (They are the driest, you can choose other mushrooms, given all the liquid in the casserole)
Chicken / turkey fillet - 300 gr. (do not take other meat, because it will need to be pre-cooked, and chicken or turkey will cook very quickly).
Lemon - 50% of 1 pc. (it is very important to respect the proportions).
Olive oil - (by eye, but I poured about 3 tablespoons).
Eggs - 3 pcs.
Cheese - 150 gr. (there is a lot in the photo, but we rubbed as much as I said).
Flour - 3-4 tbsp. spoons.
Sour cream / mayonnaise - serve as a dressing in meat, of your choice, 3-4 tbsp. spoons.

As well as spices and additives to taste:
- black pepper
- basil
- parsley
- garlic (5 cloves)
- Dill

I recommend starting with cooking meat, because it can still be infused in the refrigerator. In our case, we ripped off the legs, took what was lying around in the refrigerator. By the way, this is how the first casseroles appeared, in the archives we once came across information that one poor housewife in the USA, in the post-war period, once did not know what to cook for her dinner and, leaving all the leftovers from breakfast and lunch, flooded with eggs, I put all this in the oven, and this is how the casserole appeared, it's also interesting that for a long time all the casseroles were called ... Let's go back to the meat.

Finely chopping the meat, I season it with spices.
Then basil.
And necessarily a lemon, or rather not at all, but for the fullness of taste and sensation, in combination of lemon, zest with fragrant basil, you will get just an unusual consistency!
And at the end sour cream or mayonnaise, to taste.
Next, we send the mixture to the refrigerator.

Now let's get down to some basic cooking! I recommend peeling the mushrooms and onions at the beginning, and then starting to fry them immediately, for convenience in different pans. I also advise you to salt all dishes separately and about the same, a little. You can always make a sauce / pouring, say, any additive that you can add more salt, but as the popular wisdom says: "Not salted on the table, salted on the back" and try everything! As you can see, fry the onions until blush, and the mushrooms until they are visible (they will still be in the oven anyway).

While the onions and mushrooms are in the pan, I suggest that you simultaneously cut the potatoes into thin skibochki. It will take the longest to cook and it will be the potatoes that will need to be tasted, believe me, all the other ingredients will be ready almost instantly, so the thinner you cut the potatoes, the faster you will pamper your loved one with yummy! Spread out gradually and not too thickly, if you want more satisfying, then after a couple of layers of meat or onions with mushrooms add more.

Now the mushrooms are ready, the potatoes are laid out, the meat is infused, it's time to put everything in the container. This time you decided to make a boat. Its advantages are that on different sides of the casserole it will taste a little different and we will not pour mushrooms and onions with juice, from which they will not become stewed, but will remain fried, but if you do not care, then put on the very top what should be drier and what is almost ready, usually mushrooms and onions in more complex recipes these are tomato fillings and various sauces... But you and I will also have a filling, because this is not just potatoes in the oven with meat and mushrooms! And about tomatoes and everything else, if you are worried, it may burn, then add 2 tomatoes. They will let the juice go, and all the liquid will go down and you will gurgle soothingly.

Everything is really simple, but remember, you are not making an omelet, but something close to biscuit dough with cheese, the taste will be different and the filling will be baked. Step by step:
We rub the cheese, salt, pepper and drive in 3 eggs, then add 3 tablespoons of sour cream and 4 tablespoons of flour there, and then fill the mixture with a glass (300 gr. Milk) well, or any liquid, you can use water and stir, but do not beat, but with handles ! If you're worried about dryness, add 3 spoons. And in order to quite confidently understand what kind of mass you have, you can throw the cheese at the very end.

Then we put it in the oven at 200 degrees for about 35 minutes, but maybe more, maybe less. The reference point will be the moment when you taste the potatoes, and they are almost ready. Yes, as you understand, always try the potatoes, they are the slowest to cook. Then you take it out and evenly fill it with your sauce and turn the heat down for another 10-15 minutes. The casserole is fully cooked when the top coat looks like baked cheese. Voila! Decorate and serve.
