Ingredients:

  • Meat (any sort) - 600 g (in this recipe pork)
  • Cauliflower - 250 g
  • Potatoes - 1-2 pcs. (depending on size)
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Step by step cooking meat cutlets with cabbage:


1. Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and select the right amount... Dip it in a saucepan, cover with water and boil for 5 minutes.


2. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into 2-4 pieces, so that it is convenient to place them in the neck of the meat grinder. Peel and chop the onion as well. Peel the garlic off.


3. Place the meat grinder with medium wire rack and twist the meat. Also skip boiled cabbage, potatoes, onions, and garlic. Whisk in raw eggs, season with salt and ground pepper.


4. If desired, add any favorite spices and herbs and stir the minced meat. You can do this with your hands so that all the food is evenly distributed.


5. Put the pan on the stove, splash vegetable oil and heat up. Take a serving of minced meat, shape it into an oval shape and place it in the pan. Screw the temperature down to medium mode and fry the patties for the first 2 minutes over high heat, then screw it down to medium mode and continue frying for another 5 minutes.

They are not very different from products made from pork or beef - at least in terms of preparation. To build cabbage, a pound of chicken is ground, finely chopped and fried onion is added, and the whole mass is combined with chopped, salted and squeezed cabbage (also half a kilogram). Glazed small cutlets are breaded in flour. Breading in breadcrumbs is undesirable - it will turn out rougher, although it may fall apart less. Don't be discouraged. You will have to deal with it a little differently than with the traditional one. 300 grams should be disassembled into individual heads of cabbage and mashed together with an onion and two cloves of garlic in a blender. Turn the meat into minced meat or take the finished 150 grams. What kind of meat to take is your decision. An egg is driven into it, pepper and salt are poured into it - again at your discretion. After mixing, add the ground in a coffee grinder oat flakes(2 large rounded spoons) or regular semolina... Due to such an additive, cutlets with cabbage and minced meat will be denser and will not fall apart. You can add spicy herbs to them for aroma and piquancy - basil with dill, for example. It is noteworthy that it is better to fry such cutlets under the lid - this way they turn out to be more fluffy and tender. Instead of toasting them, you can cook them in a double boiler, but then do not expect a golden brown crust.

According to this recipe, wonderful cutlets with cabbage and minced meat are already obtained, but they will be even tastier with a sauce made from two tablespoons of natural unsweetened tomato, fresh dill gruel, salt and your favorite spices.

  6. Add salt, pepper, crushed garlic.

  7. Hands carefully beat off the prepared minced meat for cutlets on a bowl.

  8. Preheat the pan by pouring vegetable oil into it. And we begin to form cutlets with wet hands. Roll the workpiece into a mixture of bread crumbs and flour (1: 1).
