2. Peel the apples, cut in half and remove the seeds. Cut the apples into large pieces. Pour half a glass of water into a saucepan and let the water heat up. Put the sliced ​​apples into hot water and add half a glass of sugar. If your apples are sweet, you can add less sugar. Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer the apples over low heat for 15-20 minutes until tender.

3. Almonds need to be ground into flour. Use a coffee grinder or blender grinder. Grind until finely crumbled. Almonds can be substituted with whatever nuts you like.

4. Soak the dates in warm water for 5 minutes. Add to water citric acid or lemon juice to soften the fruit. Then drain the water and blot the dates with a paper towel to prevent the water from dripping off.
