Liver salad in tartlets recipe. Cod liver tartlets are a convenient snack

1. First you need to prepare the liver. It must be properly washed, cleaned of streaks and films. If desired, you can pour milk and leave for 20-30 minutes. There are two options for making tartlets with chicken liver... The first is to extinguish the liver, the second is to pour cold water and boil until tender.

2. Since the chicken liver is quite soft, 15 minutes after boiling is enough for it to be completely cooked. Then the water must be drained, and the liver must be dried and slightly cooled.

3. Send to the pan butter and melt slightly. Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut into cubes. Send to a frying pan and fry until transparent.

4. Wash carrots, peel and grate. Since the vegetables will be whipped, you can not grind them too much, but cut them into rather large pieces (this will only increase the cooking time).

5. When the vegetables are thoroughly fried, they can be combined with the liver. Then you can skip everything through a meat grinder or beat with a blender. Season the finished pate with salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for 2-3 hours so that the pate solidifies properly. Homemade chicken liver tartlets can be served with a slice of tomato and egg, garnished with fresh herbs.

Hearty and delicious salad from cod liver, eggs, peas and pickled cucumbers will decorate any festive table... Serve it in portioned tartlets, garnished as you wish. Just fill the tartlets with salad before serving, and invite all family members to decorate the tartlets - let them fantasize and experiment!

Prepare necessary products... Drain the cod liver and canned peas.

Cut the cod liver into cubes.

Boil eggs hard-boiled, cool and peel. Set aside the yolk of two eggs to decorate the tartlets, cut the rest of the eggs into cubes.

Grate the yolk on a fine grater.

Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.

Rinse green onions and dill under cold water, dry and chop finely.

Combine cod liver, eggs, cucumbers and herbs in a salad bowl. Add half a jar of peas, the other half used to decorate the tartlets. Season with salt to taste, add a pinch of black pepper if desired. Season the salad with 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and stir gently. I do not recommend adding a lot of mayonnaise, since the cod liver itself is quite juicy and fatty.

Fill the tartlets with salad and garnish canned peas and grated yolk.

Enjoy your meal!

And Happy New Year!
