5. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

7. Leave a few fungi for decoration, and finely chop the rest of the mushrooms and fry in butter.

Rinse a few green onion feathers in running water, wipe dry and chop finely with a sharp knife.

Combine all previously cooked ingredients in a deep bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add two tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet- 1 PC.

  • prunes - 10-13 pcs.
  • hard cheese - 50 g
  • boiled egg - 2 pcs.
  • mayonnaise - 80 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste

Cooking method

Wash mushrooms and onions, peel and cut into thin slices.

Do not know how to amaze guests in new year's eve? Try to cook this delicious and delicious salad, decorated in the form of Santa Claus. Bright and elegant, this salad will become a real decoration festive feast! Description of preparation and photos from Elena Petrushina.

In fact, it is very simple to prepare such beauty, you do not need special products, because for the design of the salad we will use only those ingredients that are indicated in the composition. We will make our grandfather's fur coat from the top of the crab sticks, and the edge and face from eggs.

Ingredients:
Crab sticks - 200 g;
Rice - 0.5 tbsp.;
Onions - 0.5 pcs.;
Corn - 0.5 cans;
Chicken egg - 4 pcs.;
Mayonnaise - 100-120 ml;
Salt to taste;
Peppercorns - 2 pcs. (for decoration).

Cooking time - 40 minutes.

Cooking recipe step by step:

Boil the rice until tender in lightly salted water.

For crab sticks, carefully cut off the red sides with thin slices. Cut the rest into cubes as usual. If the crab sticks have been frozen, then they must first be defrosted.

Boil chicken eggs, cool and peel. We put the whites from two eggs and one third of the yolk aside, they will be useful to us for decoration. Cut the rest of the eggs into cubes.

Peel half of the white onion and cut it into small cubes.

Combine all prepared ingredients in one bowl and add canned corn to them.

Season the salad with mayonnaise, add a small pinch of salt and mix everything thoroughly. It is better not to spare mayonnaise, the rice will absorb most of it and the salad can learn to dry.

Put the salad on a large flat dish, while forming the silhouette of Santa Claus. The head, collar, fur coat and arms should be clearly visible. We compact the salad and press it with a spoon, making the contours clearer.

Next, lay out the prepared crab sticks. From them we blind a fur coat and a cap at the hat. Hands should be completely closed. In the area of ​​the hands, you can trim the edges with scissors to make rounded palms.

Rub the yolk on the finest grater and sprinkle it on the salad in the face area. We also rub the protein on a grater and form the edge of the fur coat, cap and collar with it.

Using a confectionery syringe with a textured nozzle, we create a beard and hair for Santa Claus with mayonnaise. Then the turn of the face - peppercorns will be the eyes, and a small piece of crab sticks will be the nose. We also decorate the fur coat with corn buttons. Our Santa Claus is ready! Let's prepare nutritious salad with ham with the addition of cheese, carrots and pickled cucumbers. In terms of processes, everything is easy and simple, it boils down to the fact that all products are cut into cubes, but the design of the dish will take some time, so be patient, you will get a wonderful New Year's salad in the form of Santa Claus or Santa Claus.

Ingredients:
- ham - 200 g;
- carrots - 100 g;

  • round rice - 200 grams;

  • lettuce leaves;
  • salmon (smoked) - 400 grams;
  • shrimp - 350 grams;
  • mayonnaise;
  • Philadelphia cheese - 175 grams.

Cook rice in a proportion of 350 milliliters of liquid per 200 grams of rice, reduce heat after boiling and cook until water is completely absorbed. Mix the cheese with dressing in the same proportion and beat with a blender. Cut the cucumbers into strips, then arrange the lettuce leaves on the selected dish and draw a star-shaped outline. Place the rice, then anoint it with the prepared dressing and top with the chopped boiled shrimp, which we again cover with the dressing. The next layer is a cucumber, on which put coarsely grated eggs and again a layer of dressing.

Tiffany salad. Ingredients:

  • grapes - 300 grams;
  • cucumber (fresh);
  • cheese - 200 grams;
  • egg - 3 pcs;
  • chicken breast (smoked) - 1 pc;
  • nuts (walnuts) - 100 grams;
  • mayonnaise.

Grind the breast into cubes, grate the cheese and nuts, halve the grapes and remove the pitted or take the pitted variety right away. With the first layer on ⅔ of the dish, you need to decompose the meat and attach a grape twig to it, then a layer of grated eggs and dressing, then sprinkle everything abundantly with nuts, and grind cheese on top. It just so happened: for the New Year we are preparing "Olivier". Despite the fact that the hostesses have mastered the preparation of many newfangled salads from exotic ingredients, New Year's table the traditional "Olivier" must be present. This is both a tribute to tradition and a tribute to our taste preferences too. Gathering together, relatives and friends want to taste the dishes that they ate together year after year. It is like an indispensable attribute of both the New Year and a family festive meal.

True, and "Olivier" now can be prepared in different ways. Fairly traditional boiled sausage replace with some other ingredient (meat, pork, bacon, lightly salted red fish, etc.), as our salad will sparkle with different colors, different flavors.

What do you need:
- one chicken fillet (medium),
- 2-3 testicles,
- a pack of mayonnaise (you may need more or less),
- 2 pieces of carrots and potatoes,
- 2-3 pickled cucumbers (depending on size),
- 2 tablespoons of coconut flakes,
- 1 onion,
- pepper and salt to taste,
- 3 tablespoons of canned green peas.

How to cook from a photo step by step





1. Let's start with boiling the breast. Cook chicken fillet in salted water. Boil potatoes and carrots separately. Cook the vegetables in their skins, making sure that the potatoes are not boiled, otherwise they may fall apart right in the pan. Eggs are also cooked until cooked - hard boiled.
2. Peel the carrots, eggs and potatoes, then rinse them well.




3. Let's start cutting the ingredients for the salad. Cut the potatoes into small pieces. We try to keep the pieces from sticking together.




4. Finely chop the carrots. Let's leave one carrot for decoration.






5. But the chicken fillet can be cut larger.




6. Eggs can be chopped with a special egg cutter or, traditionally, with a knife.




7. An indispensable ingredient in Olivier is pickled cucumbers. We will also cut them finely.






8. And finally, onions. This is not the main component of the salad, but without it there will be no necessary zest. It is very good if purple or white salad onions are used instead of onions.




9. Put all the ingredients in a deep bowl for easier mixing. Add green peas.




10. Season the salad with mayonnaise, but not too much. Since I will put the salad in the garnish ring, excess mayonnaise may leak. Add salt and pepper.




11. Mix our Olivier. The salad is ready.






12. It remains to place the salad in the garnish ring to shape it. It's not obligatory. In what form you serve your salad, it's only your business.




13. Put grated carrots on top of the salad. It's not obligatory. Since I'm going to apply a dog figurine to the salad, I need grated carrots to create a contrasting background. For half an hour, put the salad in the refrigerator to make it easier to remove the ring, and so that the salad does not deform when removed.




14. I will decorate my salad with such a funny dog ​​figurine (2018 is the Year of the Dog). For this I will use a stencil, and I will apply a drawing coconut flakes... It has no pronounced taste, and will not affect the taste of our salad.
