This salad can be a great addition to buffet tables or snack tables, where guests do not sit and can pick up a salad tartlet.

Ingredients:

  • tartlets from shortcrust pastry 5-7 pcs.;
  • squid carcass 1 pc .;
  • carrot 1 pc .;
  • parsnip root 0.5-1 pc .;
  • boiled egg 1-2 pcs.;
  • hard cheese 70 g;
  • mayonnaise to taste;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • dill and green onions to taste;
  • arugula for decoration.

Cooking method:

  1. Use a freshly frozen squid carcass to prepare the salad. Pre-thaw the squid, remove all the intestines and chitinous core inside. Rinse the carcass with cold water. Then boil a few glasses of water in a ladle and boil the squid for 1 minute.
  2. Drain and rinse the carcass under cold water, remove any remnants of the pink skin. Boil again in a ladle of clean water and lower the squid carcass for another 1-2 minutes, no longer. That's it, the squid is ready, add half a teaspoon of salt and set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Cut off the squid wings to decorate the finished dish, chop the remaining carcass into strips.
  4. One small carrot and parsnip root must first be peeled and boiled until tender in a little water. For the salad, chop the carrots and parsnips into small cubes.
  5. Send prepared ingredients to a bowl and add chopped boiled eggs.

  7. Bring the mixed salad to readiness with dill or green onions. Salt and ground pepper can be added to this salad as desired.
  8. This salad is served in portioned tartlets: sand or waffle tartlets. From experience, I want to give preference to sand tartlets, they do not soften quickly, unlike waffle ones. Gently fill the tartlets with salad.
  9. I recommend leaving this salad to soak for a few hours for a richer and more savory taste.
  10. Use beautiful dishes for presenting salads. It is advisable to use a flat and wide plate for this. Place the tartlets on a plate in a circle, in the center with a slide, add a bunch of arugula. Garnish each tartlet with chopped scallions and sprinkle with yolk.

If you have some squid, vegetables and ingredients for making shortbread tartlets in your fridge, now you can prepare a delicious and simple dish - squid and cheese tartlets. Moreover, you can cook this dish with ready-made tartlets. This will not change the taste at all.

Squid and cheese tartlets are tender dish... We will fill it with sour cream, not mayonnaise. This will make the dish even more airy and light. Please note that the dish contains ingredients that are available in any store. But if you wish, you can add any products to the composition that you think will be appropriate in this dish.

Why did we choose a combination like squid and cheese. The thing is that boiled squid have a delicate taste. But the most important thing here is not to digest the carcasses, otherwise they will turn out to be rubbery and tasteless. And the cheese, in turn, will add a little pungency and piquancy. Choose hard cheese with caution. Make sure that it does not slip to the touch. When you grate it, make sure that it does not stick together, otherwise your dish will turn out to be viscous.

Step by step cooking:

  1. So, to prepare a snack, you first need to prepare all the ingredients. Boil the squids and peel them. Cut them into small pieces.
  2. Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves to prevent moisture from entering the snack. Cut the lettuce leaves into strips.
  3. Boil the eggs and cool. Then peel and rub on a fine grater.
  4. The cucumber can be finely chopped, or grated on a coarse grater.
  5. Combine all the ingredients you received and add the chopped green onions.
  6. Season the salad with sour cream.
  7. Then take the tartlets and spread the lettuce evenly over them so that each serving has the same amount of lettuce.
  8. Now take the tray on which you will lay out the tartlets and lay them out neatly, decorating with green onion feathers.

Delicious snack tartlets are always present on my holiday table. I bake many baskets at once for all sorts of snacks and a part for those with a sweet tooth. I fill the tartlets with a variety of goodies: my favorite salads, pates, jellies.

Whisk for sweet desserts delicious cream, cream, berry soufflé and other sweets. Today I will show you how to cook squid tartlets. My eaters say it's the most delicious recipe tartlets. Although it is quite simple to prepare. The detailed cooking sequence and step-by-step photos will help you prepare the same festive squid tartlets at home and set the table beautifully.

To do this original appetizer we stock up on products:

  • filling tartlets - 10-12 pcs.;
  • frozen squid - 1-2 carcasses;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • leaf salad - 3-5 leaves;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 pc .;
  • green onions - 2-3 pcs.;
  • dill and parsley - a small bunch;
  • sour cream - 100 gr;
  • mayonnaise - 100 gr;
  • salt.

Baskets for filling with salad need to be baked in advance or bought ready-made. I usually bake myself. I cook the most universal with sour cream. So the day before festive feast we bake beautiful and delicious baskets.

How to make tartlet filling

We start cooking by cooking squid. Usually, for this salad, I take a couple of frozen squid carcasses, defrost, rinse and put them in boiling water for no more than 5 minutes. With prolonged cooking, the squid becomes "rubbery" and tasteless.

To my regret, in the nearest market I found only a frozen piece of giant squid. I never cooked them, but I took them for a sample. So, we are preparing tartlets with squid, but a giant one. I dipped pieces of squid into boiling water and boiled them under a closed lid for 7 minutes.

Then she took it out and washed it with running water. When the squid cooled down, cut it into strips. As it turned out, the giant squid turned out to be cute and edible! 😉 So you can safely use it for salads.

We also cut boiled eggs into strips, as in the photo.

A delicious filling for tartlets is obtained by adding fresh cucumber. We cut it in the same way as the previous products - into strips.

Festive salad tartlets should always look appetizing and attractive. Dill and parsley greens will add a spring mood to the appetizer and decorate our baskets. Chop parsley, dill and green onions.

Now, mix all the components of the salad, add sour cream. We try it for salt.

We fill the finished tartlets with prepared salad and decorate them beautifully on a platter. Squid tartlets look very festive and attractive.

But such a snack is not only eye-catching. The taste of the baskets themselves is simply wonderful, and the delicate filling with squid, egg, cucumber and herbs goes well with delicious tartlet dough.

Be sure to prepare squid tartlets for the next celebration, you will not regret it! And bon appetit to everyone! 🙂
