A person, being in the modern rhythm of life, rarely thinks about proper nutrition. Compliance with certain dietary recommendations for diseases of the digestive tract is considered a fundamental point in treatment and rehabilitation. If the diet is not followed, the treatment will not bring the desired result. Proper nutrition with gastritis of the stomach, it has a direct positive effect on the functioning of the digestive system, acts indirectly on the body, changing metabolic processes.

Today, thanks to the development of pharmacology, drugs are produced for the treatment of diseases of the digestive system. The therapeutic diet has changed: the list of foods allowed for consumption has expanded. Diet recommendations are supposed to be adhered to and understand the need for such a regimen. Proper nutrition is becoming in demand for people with an active lifestyle.

In the stomach, hydrochloric acid is constantly produced - the most important component of gastric juice. Foods affect the secretory activity of the stomach in different ways, stimulating the organ either actively or weakly. Patients with gastritis need to know the prohibited and permitted foods.

Strong stimulants of secretory activity

These are prohibited products for patients with gastritis with increased secretion, but with atrophic gastritis, the listed culinary delights are allowed in small quantities.

  • meat, fish, mushroom broth, concentrated broths on vegetables;
  • condiments and spices: mustard, horseradish, radish;
  • fried foods;
  • canned food;
  • tomato sauces;
  • stewed in own juice fish and meat;
  • salted, smoked meat and fish, herring;
  • salted, pickled, pickled vegetables and fruits;
  • yolks of hard-boiled eggs;
  • baking;
  • Rye bread;
  • stale edible fats;
  • skimmed milk;
  • strong coffee and tea;
  • carbonated drinks;
  • sour, unripe fruits;
  • raw vegetables.

Weak products

The list of permitted foods for any gastritis.

  • water;
  • fat milk, cottage cheese;
  • starch;
  • eggs with semi-liquid yolk, omelet;
  • long cooked meat;
  • boiled fresh fish;
  • vegetable purees;
  • dairy, slimy soups;
  • milk porridge;
  • semolina;
  • boiled rice;
  • alkaline mineral water without gas;
  • yesterday's white bread;
  • weak tea.

A responsible role is assigned to culinary processing... For example, fried meat is a stronger stimulant than boiled meat. Fried meat is not recommended for gastritis of the stomach for this reason.

Fats initially suppress secretion, and after the formation of fat saponification products in the intestine, gastric secretion is stimulated. For example, if you eat a herring in vegetable oil, initially you will feel good, your stomach will be silent. Heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain will gradually appear, as evidence of the harm eaten.

It is important to combine healthy foods correctly. For example, when proteins are combined with fats, the stimulation of secretion is not as pronounced as when consuming just fats. However, it is stretched out in time, long. Patients with gastritis with erosions are encouraged to avoid such combinations.

Stomach motility

In various types of gastritis, motility is an important factor affecting the patient's quality of life. The patient has to draw up an approximate daily menu, not eat in public places, so as not to get into a mess.

The motor function of the stomach and intestines is influenced by the consistency and chemical composition food, any piece of food eaten affects motor skills.

Solid food stays in the stomach longer. The evacuation of carbohydrates occurs faster, then proteins, fats are the last to leave the stomach. In chronic gastritis, knowledge of the order is considered an important factor that can worsen the quality of life.

General principles of nutrition for gastritis

The main goal of nutritional therapy is considered to be the treatment of the stomach and the prevention of exacerbations. Products for gastritis are divided into harmful and useful, recommended and not recommended.

  • Eating on a schedule will cause the stomach and enzyme systems to prepare in time to take in and digest the food. The correct diet promotes reparative processes.
  • Nutrition for gastritis of the stomach is offered varied in content nutrients and taste.
  • The diet and menu for a week are made for a specific person, based on gender, energy consumption and other factors.
  • It is required to take into account the correct percentage of B: F: Y.
  • Proper handling of food.
  • When developing nutrition, concomitant pathology is taken into account.
  • Eating right is recommended in combination with a healthy lifestyle.

Mechanical damage

You should not overeat - mechanical irritation of the stomach occurs due to hyperextension. Especially harmful is the regular excessive consumption of food. A gastritis sufferer must understand that the inflamed gastric mucosa is extremely vulnerable, and when overstretched, the mucous membrane is injured.

Foods that contain fiber damage the stomach lining, especially the inflamed ones. Coarse fiber products:

  • radish, turnip;
  • beans;
  • peas with husks;
  • unripe fruits;
  • gooseberry;

It is worth eliminating or minimizing the amount of acidic foods, but patients eat a small amount with low acidity.

Thermal damage

Healthy food is warm food. Hot food, or cold food, damage the inflamed stomach lining, increasing inflammation. It is advisable to use warm dishes in the diet.

Sparing mode

A gentle diet is based on the principles:

  1. You should eat in small portions and often, making it easier for the stomach.
  2. A gradual transition from diet to diet.
  3. Taking into account the stage of development of the disease, the alternation of diets and the use of products.
  4. Accounting for concomitant pathology.
  5. Prevention of possible complications.

Acute gastritis

In acute gastritis, before the appointment of therapeutic measures, the cause is eliminated. Poisoning becomes a common cause, gastric lavage will be a mandatory event warm water or a soda solution prepared at the rate of 12 g of soda per liter of water. After rinsing, a single dose of activated carbon in the form of a powder dissolved in water will make you feel better.

Then it is worth deciding what is allowed to be eaten with gastritis. First of all, you should consult a doctor, in case of a severe course of the disease, call at home. After examining the patient, the doctor will always, in addition to treatment, recommend medical nutrition: diet, food, drinks.

  • Fasting for 2 days, accompanied by a normal drinking regimen.

This is the period of cleansing the body of trapped toxins and partial restoration of the digestive system. During this period, questions are inappropriate whether mushrooms, pancakes, sour cream are allowed.

  • The transition to nutrition, according to diet 0. Provides for the consumption of liquid and semi-liquid food, enriched with vitamins. Calorie content is low - up to 1000 kcal per day.

A diet is prescribed to patients after operations, the recommended food is selected as sparingly as possible, and the work of the stomach is minimal. The diet includes a minimum of products that are extremely necessary.

Prolonged adherence to the diet requires the appointment of parenteral nutrition, the regimen includes insufficient nutrients for a full life. The diet is useful only in the first days after the onset of the disease.

What foods are permissible to use:

They eat little by little, in small portions. After starvation, the stomach needs to "start", like other enzyme systems of the body.

  • On the third day - diet 1a.

Compliance with the recommendations will maximize the protection of the stomach from mechanical and chemical damage. The main list of permitted foods corresponds to diet one. A characteristic feature is the mushy food, taken 6 times a day. The daily amount of energy is 1800 kcal due to the reduced amount of proteins and fats. The dietary table is prescribed for a short period; for a long-term intake, there is a lack of nutrients.

  • On the seventh day, meals are started according to diet 1b.

This is a transitional diet from 1a to 1 for the gradual complication of the stomach.

Diet 1b is necessary for a gradual transition to more complex food for the stomach. There is a transition of predominantly liquid food to mushy and semi-solid, the action cannot be done quickly. The daily calorie content is 2500 kcal.

  • Long-term diet 1.
  • A gradual transition to a regular healthy diet.

  3. It is supposed to eat 5-6 times a day, taking into account snacks, tasty and healthy. You need to snack not on a chocolate bar, but on an apple, not on chips, but on nuts.
  4. Haste prevents the digestive system from working. When chewing quickly, large pieces of food inhibit the work of the stomach, overstretching the organ. Food is delayed, dietary advice becomes useless.
  5. Adequate amount of vegetables and fruits, no coarse fiber. If, after once suffered acute gastritis, stomach issues did not arise, the list of vegetables and fruits is like that of a healthy person.
  6. Food should be prepared in different ways, you can not refuse soups and eat main courses. Each culinary form own pluses, dishes cannot be ruled out.
  7. Sufficient water intake. Soup, juice and tea are not included in the item. The body receives useful liquid only in the form of water, everything else refers to liquid food. It is required to observe the drinking regime.
  8. Correct distribution B: F: D during the day. For example, during breakfast it is better to increase the amount of proteins, they are digested slowly, slowly release energy, which will last until the next meal.
  9. The last meal is no later than two hours before bedtime. It is better to give preference to vegetable, dairy dishes. If you cook meat products, they are carefully prepared to reduce the stress on the stomach.
  10. The main rule is fresh food. This is the principle of healthy eating and.
  11. You should eat when there is a feeling of hunger.

If the product is on the list of approved products, but the patient develops dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, the product is canceled. If a person's stomach does not respond to the prohibited list, it does not mean that the product is good.

The age of the patient must be taken into account. For example, with the development of gastritis in young patients, the list of foods can be expanded to increase the calorie content due to B and F by 20-30 g. With the development of gastritis in older patients, most of the diet must be made up of easily digestible foods. Older people have fewer calories needed.
